As one of our best-selling artists, Kim was the natural choice to kick off this project. She brings years of dedication and hard-won experience — yet still creates with the wide-eyed wonder and excitement a launch of this scale and vision demands.

How We Choose
We don't take applications. We take notice.
There's no form to fill out, no jury, no waitlist. Our residents aren't selected — they're recognized. We look for artists whose work stops us in our tracks and whose spirit fits the room, and the rest happens the way the best things usually do: naturally, unexpectedly, and exactly when it's meant to. If that sounds like an open door rather than a closed one, good. Keep making work worth noticing.
